There are 26 participants in this program
Learning how to make a souvenier / special gift from Pangkalan BUn , such as orangutan and sea turtle toys
Ibu Amy from Bogor teach how to make a beautiful knitting flower
And me ,,, I let the participants learn how to make orangutan and sea turtle

An old  couple from Chile have come into my workshop, they learnt how to make orangutan handicraft....
sure you can see that, this mother looks so old already,, but She enjoyed the activity in my workshop ...
They told me that they really love Indonesia ..nature , culture, food, people ( friendly ,, very friendly .... :) )..

 Few days ago I have completed some finger puppets new series,,with Indonesia traditional costume

This is my way in promoting Indonesia culture, specially traditional costume..  yup  this is part of my Idealist Project
foreigner love this such of things .. I hope that Indonesian also love these... :)

Hii....

I have tried hard in making Handpuppets orangutan ;; I used recycle cloth ( this my efforts in reducing rubbish...of course... )
There is no  late words in learning of how taking care environment , so this is my product ( some have bought by kindergarten teachers,, :)

 Two Germany guests in my Workshop= Pangkalan Bun - Central Borneo, Indonesia
 Yupp.. I knew them since we were have canceled flight  from Jakarta, fortunately they met me in my workshop after had great adventure to Tanjung Puting National Park .
Left two days in Pangkalan Bun, they learnt how to make orangutan handicraft in my workshop, I become their driver  :) visitting YELLOW PALACE in Pangkalan Bun and last day.... having the most delicious drill fish restaurant.....

I held a felt tutorial in the pangkalan Bun , central Borneo's Prison , the audience are women prisoners and the Prison's official.
the products are : cover bottle, glass mat : made by felt
there are 16 prisoner and 3 prison's official join this program, they looked so excited and enjoy this activities...
but the situation  arouse my simphaty to them...

Unfortunately I forgot taking their picture and asked their name .. :( ,,
The best time was..... they bought my handmade cute orangutan's baby keychains!! Thanks a lot friends.. see you again....

Acara : Felt Tutorial , flower brooch dengan 2 macam tekhnik mudah

hasilnya ..lumayan buat dipakai sendiri

 I have been staying in Pangkalan Bun   Central Borneo ( Kalimantan tengah ) since 2003,.the place where Orangutan get their real habitat,.but so far less promotion in saving Borneo's Orangutan , but I shouldn't give up... I'll do my best ( base on my passion on handycraft of course)  to do this promoting...

The reason behind my project is  making Orang utan more familiar with local people, local children through my cute orangutan keychain, and to educate students through story telling using orangutan  finger puppet .( I also produce orangutan  finger puppet !! )
...I hope they will start to love Orangutan and together We Save Orangutan ; Now or never.....
